The solar panel tube set can be mounted on a flat or inclined roof (contact us for any advice needed) it should face generally south, it can be elevated from 30 degrees to 60 degrees in latitudes of 45 to 55 North or South. The cylinder can be mounted above or below the solar panel set, but generally it will replace the existing copper cylinder in an existing house or a new house. Excess hot water can be diverted to any other use such as additional hot water storage, pool, central heating system and so on.

Description

Sensors located in the manifold and in the cylinder supply information to the intelligent controller. Once the controller sees the manifold temperature is greater than the cylinder temperature it causes the pump to run. Thus the hotter liquid is pumped through the coil in the cylinder thereby heating the water in the cylinder. The cylinder water can also be additionally heated by the central heating boiler, or any other means such as geothermal loop or immersion electric heating element.
